Molly and Zac | Southern Oregon Bridal Session

“Go where you feel most alive.” -Greg Childs

Is there anything more romantic than a mountaintop session? Here in Southern Oregon, we are so blessed with picturesque mountain peaks just about everywhere we turn. In fact, when I travel to other destinations for weddings or sessions, I am reminded how lucky we are to have such gorgeous spaces to explore. This wonderful couple requested mountaintop bridals, and I was more than happy to oblige. The mountains represent strength and surety, something that is necessary for any strong marriage. They also offer beautiful lighting, interesting textures, and colors that even photos can’t do justice to completely.

We trekked together to one of the prettiest areas, and they celebrated their recent marriage (which took place in another state) with these breezy, dreamy photos. Molly’s stunning dress (via Anthropologie) was beaded and sparkling, and Zac wore a coordinating suit. Of course, the showstopping florals were a perfect addition, and they came courtesy of The Bloom & Co. If you aren’t familiar with their unique blossoms and arrangements, you should definitely check them out. The owner, Cortney, specializes in getting to know each of her clients, and making them bouquets and arrangements that suit their personalities and passions. She absolutely did a wonderful job with Molly’s blooms, which captured her spirit and joy.

Separate bridal sessions are a really special way to get a personal, intimate session when you have a destination wedding or get married elsewhere. It allows you to have the portraits you’ll want to hang up, document, and share with friends and family, and gives you and your spouse another sweet memory together without the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. They can also be a really fun way to express your personal style in a different way. If you are interested in scheduling your own bridal session, just contact us on our contact page!

Christine and Brandon -Southern Oregon Couples and Wedding Photography

When Christine and Brandon decided to tie the knot, they hoped to get married on this stunning mountain range, but opted for a private estate wedding on her parent's property at Rock Creek Meadows instead. Their day was perfect, but having this separate session allowed us to capture the mountaintop feel they had dreamed of, after their wedding ceremony. This was a very intimate after session, that provided time to enjoy the views and breathe the fresh air! Christine was a relaxed bride (although she was already a wife here!), and her makeup, jewelry, and stunning gown made it feel very bridal, while also being appropriate for the outdoors. They are so in love, and it was a true joy to make the trek up this mountainside to witness their joy.

An after session is the perfect fit for a couple who has a small, intimate wedding, and wants a different backdrop for more wedding photos, or for a couple who has a limited timeline on the day-of. It's a great way to also do separate bridal photos, as well, in a special location that's different than your ceremony. It also allows you to be a bit more relaxed, because the inevitable stresses that can come with a wedding day can make it harder to focus and take in the moment. Christine is a wonderfully talented photographer at Christine Sarah Photography, and also a dear friend. I love all of her fun, creative ideas, and felt so humbled that she chose me to photograph her and Brandon on both their wedding day and this special shoot.

Justin and Whitney's vineyard wedding couldn't have been more beautiful.   Agate Ridge Vineyard was the perfect setting for their summer Southern Oregon Wedding.     You wouldn't know by the photos that  it was a crazy warm day but they were so graceful and wonderful to work with even in the heat!   The bride's aunt arranged all the florals and her uncle officiated the wedding.  We snuck away for a romantic sunset session in the vines.  After their speeches and dances started Justin surprised his new bride with a little love ballad alongside his groomsmen.   These two are truly sweet and wonderful together I am so grateful to have amazing clients I call friends.

Thank you to this wonderful team of vendors!
