Ramirez Family | Oregon Family Photographer

Erica actually was gifted her session from a friend. I always love meeting clients that have received a gift card because it's like a new surprise of meeting a new client.  This family couldn't have been more sweet and adorable.  The baby was just the cutest and all their siblings were very patient and wonderful with her.

If you love the look of this session then now is the time to shoot! Summer nights give the perfect scenic glow for portrait sessions.  Also if you are wondering about how long family sessions are they are quick. I know how tough it is with little ones so I say up to an hour just to give us a good amount of time but really they are like 45 minutes.  We take breaks for the kids because they need them and we always make sure mom and dad look their best.  I love having different combinations of family members and the different dynamics.  Yes mom and dad always get at least one photo together after all this beautiful family is here because you two fell in love!

Baby Avery | Southern Oregon Fine Art Photographer

Baby Avery, joined by her mama and daddy, made a very sweet little subject for a family/baby session. We opted for one outdoor and one indoor location, which gave them the bright colors of fine art film photography outdoors, and the natural, more lifestyle feel of indoor portraits. I loved the maxi dress that the mom chose, because solid colors photograph beautifully, with limited distraction from the subjects. Of course, as great as mom and dad looked, it’s pretty hard to compete with Avery, who was easygoing, happy, and full of smiles.

I believe family sessions should be filled with lots of laughter, genuine emotion, and a stress-free experience. I know photographing small children can be a little anxiety producing for the parents, but I love working with children, and aim to create happy memories as well as fine art portraits.
